Gold prices have risen again in the local market. The price of 22-carat gold has increased by BDT 1,680 per tola and is now being sold at BDT 201,776 per tola.
Today’s Gold Rates:
22-carat: BDT 201,776 per tola
21-carat: BDT 192,596 per tola
18-carat: BDT 165,081 per tola
Traditional method: BDT 137,180 per tola
The increase has been attributed to the rise in pure gold prices in the local market. Buyers should also add a 5% government VAT and a 6% minimum wage set by BAJUS to the sale price. Labour charges may vary depending on the design and quality of jewellery.
