Next general election will be held as per constitution: Hanif

 “The Election Commission (EC) will conduct the polls in a fair and neutral manner. There will be no government interference,” he said this while speaking at a triennial council of Chatkhil Upazila Awami League at Chatkhil Panch Gaon Government High School ground in the district.

Hanif said we want a participatory election and continue the democratic process. He said BNP don’t want development of country and its people. They wants to pull back the country and turn Bangladesh into a new Pakistan. BNP believes to the ideology of Pakistani, he added.

He also said BNP-Jamaat had carried out arson attack in the name of movement in 2013-14 in the country. They had launched attack bomb on the people and vehicles. Country’s people didn’t forgive it. AL leader Hanif said BNP founder Ziaur Rahman had established his party through illegal way. So, they don’t want development of the country.

Among those who spoke at the event were AL Organizing Secretary Abu Sayeed Al Mahmood Swapon, former MP Mahmudur Rahman Belayet, MP H. M. Ibrahim, President of Noakhali District AL Professor Khairul Anam Selim, General Secretary of Feni District AL Nizam Uddin Hazari, and Personal Assistant of PM Jahangir Alam.
