ONE Bank Brings Staff Together at Visionary ‘Town Hall Meet 2025’

ONE Bank PLC recently organised its flagship Town Hall Meet 2025 in Dhaka’s vibrant Gulshan district, gathering employees and senior management from branches nationwide. The event was framed around the forward-looking theme “Together We Rise as ONE – Transform to Lead, Drive to Excel,” encapsulating the bank’s ambition to strengthen unity while steering a renewed phase of institutional transformation.

The programme was inaugurated by ASM Shahidullah Khan, chairman of ONE Bank PLC, who graced the gathering as chief guest. In his address, Khan reaffirmed the board’s unwavering confidence in the newly appointed leadership team and highlighted the board’s expectations for stronger governance frameworks, enhanced performance discipline, and a strategic transformation aligned with global banking standards. He noted that the banking sector is undergoing rapid change, and ONE Bank must remain proactive in embracing innovation and operational reform to maintain competitive strength.

Conducting the event was Muhit Rahman, the newly appointed managing director of ONE Bank PLC. According to an official press release, Rahman presented a comprehensive overview of his strategic vision for the bank. He outlined a modern, future-centred roadmap, emphasising disciplined execution, operational efficiency, technology-driven enhancements, and improved collaboration among teams at every organisational tier.

The Town Hall Meet was attended by key figures from the bank’s leadership, including Zahur Ullah, chairman of the executive committee; Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury (retd), independent director and former Chief of Naval Staff; senior management; divisional and business heads; and branch managers from across the country.
