In a disclosure issued on Monday, 12 January through the Dhaka Stock Exchange, Dhaka Bank confirmed that regulatory approval for Fayez’s appointment had been granted by the Bangladesh Bank on 18 December. Following this approval, the bank’s board of directors formally endorsed his appointment at a board meeting, authorising him to join and assume full executive responsibilities with immediate effect. Bank officials noted that the process was completed in line with established governance and regulatory frameworks.
