The government’s primary scholarship examination for the year ২০২৫ is scheduled to take place in April ২০২৬. While the official timetable for the examination has not yet been released, the question paper structure, marking scheme, and a comprehensive set of guidelines for the scholarship exam have already been published. These guidelines were made available on the website of the Directorate of Primary Education on Tuesday, providing students, parents, and educators with clear instructions ahead of the examination.
According to the regulations, students appearing for the examination must strictly adhere to ten key instructions while in the examination hall. In addition, the guidelines outline acceptable conduct throughout the exam to ensure a fair and orderly assessment.
The primary scholarship exam will cover the following subjects:
- Bengali

For Bengali, English, and Mathematics, the examination will carry 100 marks each, with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
