Dhaka: In a move set to enhance employee financial services, Prime Bank PLC has signed a comprehensive payroll agreement with Fame Group, establishing a strategic corporate banking collaboration. The formal signing took place at Prime Bank’s corporate office in Dhaka, attended by senior executives from both organisations.
Under this agreement, employees of Fame Group will gain access to a suite of exclusive banking privileges, including preferential banking services, credit card facilities, and tailored loan options. In addition, staff will benefit from PrimePay, the bank’s state-of-the-art digital payroll platform, which facilitates seamless, automated salary disbursement while providing 24/7 corporate payment solutions. This initiative is expected to simplify financial management for both the company and its employees, bringing payroll operations in line with modern digital banking standards.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the two organisations by M Nazeem A Choudhury, Deputy Managing Director of Prime Bank PLC, and Masud Alam, Managing Director of Fame Group, underscoring their commitment to strengthening employee financial wellbeing.
The signing ceremony was attended by a number of senior officials from both institutions. From Prime Bank, attendees included Mamur Ahmed, SEVP & Head of Distribution Network; Mehedi Zaman Khan, SVP & Team Head, Commercial Banking Division; and Hasina Fardous, VP & Head of Payroll Banking. Representing Fame Group were Md Golam Kabir, Chief Operating Officer; Paritosh Sarker, Finance Adviser; Brigadier General Murad Zaman (Retd), Executive Director-Admin; and Nizam Uddin, General Manager-Commercial. The presence of these senior officials emphasised the significance of the partnership.
