The Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) has issued a directive requiring all private educational institutions — including schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical institutes — to complete their e-registration and update institutional profiles by 5 November.
The announcement was made on Monday, 27 October, through an official circular signed by Tasnim Zebin, Director of NTRCA. The circular emphasises that adherence to the deadline is mandatory for maintaining eligibility in the authority’s teacher recruitment and certification processes.
According to the notice, institutions that have not yet registered online must complete a new e-registration, while those already registered are required to update their profiles within the stipulated timeframe. Failure to comply will result in institutions losing access to NTRCA’s online recruitment request system (e-requisition), which will prevent them from submitting teacher demand applications in the future.
The circular also highlights responsibilities for education officers. Both District Education Officers (DEOs) and Upazila Secondary Education Officers (USEOs) are required to update their individual profiles within the e-registration system. District Education Officers have been instructed to ensure that all USEOs under their jurisdiction provide the necessary guidance and supervision to help institutions complete the e-registration process effectively.
To facilitate compliance, the NTRCA has provided detailed instructions on its official website. Institutions and educational authorities have been advised to follow the step-by-step guidelines available under the “E-Registration Services” section to avoid any complications.
The authority reaffirmed that timely completion of the e-registration and profile update is critical for ensuring institutional eligibility in future teacher recruitment and certification exercises. Officials stressed that failure to meet the deadline may disrupt the recruitment process for both institutions and prospective teachers, potentially affecting staffing across non-government educational establishments nationwide.
