Spotify and YouTube’s new annual Wrap and Recap features allow users to review their media habits over the year. Spotify Wrapped provides detailed insights into a listener’s favourite songs, artists, and the types of music explored during the year.

YouTube’s Recap feature uses a person’s watch history to highlight the media formats and genres they explored the most. The company stated in a blog post, “YouTube Recap uniquely highlights interests, deep dives, and moments you explored this year. Users will receive up to 12 cards showcasing their top channels, main interests, and the evolution of their viewing habits. It also shows which personality type you fall into based on the videos you enjoyed.”

The Spotify Wrapped 2025 web page is still under development, but users can revisit the top songs of 2024. This annual wrap allows users to share their personalised stats on social media, functioning as a promotional tool for the platform.

This year, Amazon has launched its 2025 Delivered experience, allowing users to view their favourite music, podcasts, and audiobooks.
