At just 15 years of age, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has rewritten the record books in Twenty20 cricket, becoming both the youngest and fastest player to reach 100 sixes in the format.

The Indian prodigy achieved the milestone while representing Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League clash against Gujarat Titans. In a moment that underlined his fearless reputation, Suryavanshi reached the landmark with a towering straight six off Mohammed Siraj on the very first ball of his innings, sending the ball sailing over the sight-screen and into the stands.

What makes the feat even more extraordinary is the speed at which he has accumulated his six-hitting numbers. He reached 100 sixes in just 514 deliveries faced in T20 cricket, at the remarkably young age of 15 years and 43 days. This shatters the previous benchmark held by Karunveer Singh, who required 813 balls to reach the same milestone. Among elite T20 power-hitters, West Indies legend Kieron Pollard had previously featured in the upper tier of rapid six-hitters, but Suryavanshi’s strike rate now sets a new global standard for precocious hitting ability.
