A Volatile Domestication
Local sources and distraught family members revealed that the couple’s short marriage was marred by incessant domestic strife. Disputes frequently erupted over lifestyle choices and personal conduct, exacerbated by Akhi’s high-profile presence on social media. Police theory suggests that during a particularly violent altercation, Akhi allegedly overpowered her younger husband and smothered him to death with a pillow.
The suspect, originally from the West Thoyyangakata area of Khuniyapalong Union, gained a significant following for her digital content. Authorities are now exploring whether her online activities or related interpersonal conflicts contributed to the breakdown of the marriage.
Official Investigation and Manhunt
Monirul Islam Bhuiyan, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ramu Police Station, confirmed that a “surathal” (preliminary inquest) report has been meticulously prepared. “The state of the body indicates the murder took place several days ago. We are processing the remains for a full post-mortem at the Cox’s Bazar District Hospital morgue to confirm the exact cause of death,” the OC stated.
He further added that multiple police units have been deployed to track and apprehend the fleeing suspect. The tragic incident serves as a grim reminder of the potential for domestic escalation, compounded by the complexities of modern digital identities.
