According to local sources, the first incident occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. near the Holidagachi area under Sholua Union. A passenger train travelling from Rajshahi to Khulna, the Mahananda Express, was passing close to Holidagachi railway crossing when a woman, estimated to be around 35 years old, came into contact with the train. In a separate incident later the same night, another fatal accident occurred in the Hobibpur area of Nimpara Union, under Kalabipara locality. A young man named Sohaq (25), son of Julum Pramanik of the same area, was struck by a train during the late hours. The impact was extremely severe, resulting in the amputation of one of his legs. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Local residents indicated that the incident may have been accidental, though the exact circumstances remain under investigation. Following the incident, police and railway authorities recovered the body and arranged for its burial after necessary procedures.
