According to officials from the Government Railway Police, the body was first noticed at approximately 6:30am on Tuesday by railway staff during routine duties near the station platform area. Local accounts indicate that a ticket examiner on early morning duty was the first to spot the body near the tracks. He immediately alerted railway authorities, who then informed the police. Officers arrived shortly afterwards and secured the area before recovering the remains for examination.
