The accident occurred on Sunday, 22 March, at approximately 9:00 a.m., on the Natore–Pabna highway near Gormati Colony. Zulfiqar was travelling to his sister’s house to deliver wedding invitations when the private car he was in lost control and collided violently with a tree, killing him instantly.

According to Mo. Moniruzzaman, Officer-in-Charge of the Natore Bonpara Highway Police, the car was driven by Zulfiqar’s elder brother, Rafiqul Islam. “Zulfiqar’s wedding was scheduled for tomorrow. The vehicle lost control and crashed into a tree. He died instantly at the scene,” the officer confirmed.
