Navi General Insurance, the dedicated insurance division of the Indian financial services conglomerate Navi, has formalised strategic partnerships with four key automotive service providers. This development is designed to augment the company’s ‘Cashless Anywhere’ initiative, significantly broadening the geographical reach and technical scope of its motor insurance claims infrastructure.
Strategic Collaborations and Service Integration
The insurer has onboarded GoMechanic, myTVS, and AIS Windshield Experts to its network. These collaborations grant policyholders streamlined access to an extensive array of partner garages and specialised windshield service centres. The primary objective of these alliances is to facilitate seamless, cashless claims servicing, thereby reducing the financial and administrative burden on customers during vehicle repairs.
In addition to repair services, Navi has partnered with ReadyAssist to enhance its emergency support capabilities. ReadyAssist is slated to provide 24/7 roadside assistance (RSA) services, covering more than 19,000 pin codes across India. Furthermore, ReadyAssist will support Navi’s operational requirements for on-site physical claims surveys on a pan-India basis, ensuring that damage assessments are conducted efficiently by qualified personnel.
Rapid Network Expansion and Projections
Navi General Insurance has demonstrated significant growth in its service infrastructure during the first half of 2026. The company reported that its network of cashless garages has more than doubled within a five-month period. As of May 2026, the network comprises over 1,600 garages, a substantial increase from the approximately 710 facilities recorded in January 2026.
The company has set an aggressive short-term target to further scale this infrastructure, aiming to surpass 3,000 partner garages by June 2026. This expansion reflects a concerted effort to capture a larger share of the Indian motor insurance market, which remains a cornerstone of the general insurance sector.
Table: Navi General Insurance Network Growth (2026)
| Month (2026) | Cashless Garage Count | Growth Status |
| January | ~710 | Recorded Base |
| May | 1,600+ | Current Achievement |
| June | 3,000+ | Projected Target |
Market Context and Economic Significance
The emphasis on motor insurance infrastructure aligns with broader industry trends in India. According to data provided by Navi, motor insurance accounts for approximately 32% of total general insurance premiums in the country. Given the high volume of claims and the competitive nature of the sector, the ability to offer a vast, “cashless” network is a critical differentiator for insurers.
By integrating digital-first financial services with physical repair networks, Navi aims to address the logistical challenges inherent in the Indian automotive market. The inclusion of specialised providers like AIS Windshield Experts ensures that even specific glass-related claims can be processed without out-of-pocket expenses for the insured party. Similarly, the wide-reaching RSA coverage provided by ReadyAssist addresses the necessity of 24-hour support in a country with a vast and varied road network.
These operational updates underscore Navi General Insurance’s strategy to leverage third-party expertise to scale its service delivery model rapidly, ensuring that its “Cashless Anywhere” promise is backed by a robust physical presence across both urban and rural India.
