Bangladesh Television (BTV) is scheduled to broadcast a special edition of its popular magazine show, Anandamela, as part of its celebratory programming for Eid-ul-Azha. Featuring an array of musical performances, dances, comedy sketches, and interactive segments, the high-profile program will air on Eid day at 10:00 PM.
The upcoming iteration of Anandamela is produced by a collaborative team comprising Afroza Sultana, Md. Hasan Riad, Yasir Arafat, and Yasmin Akhter. Acquired for the hosting role this season is the prominent television actor Afran Nisho, who will guide viewers through the evening’s entertainment.
Key Musical and Dance Performances
A central highlight of the event is a specially choreographed segment featuring the legendary vocalist Runa Laila, who will deliver a contemporary rendition of the classic song “Ei Brishti Bheja Raate Chole Jeo Na”. In another major musical feature, acclaimed singer Baby Naznin will perform “Kal Sararat Chhilo Swapner Raat”, with accompanying choreography directed by dancers Chandni and Shawon.
The musical lineup further includes a duet by contemporary singers Nancy and Imran, who are set to premiere a new song titled “Krishnachura”. The track features lyrics penned by Kabir Bakul, with music composition handled by Imran Mahmudul himself.
