In Ranisankail, Thakurgaon, a union social worker, Mahbub Alam, 40, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on the morning of Sunday, 30 November. Another passenger was injured in the collision, which occurred in the Khutiyatuli area of the upazila.
Eyewitnesses reported that Mahbub Alam was travelling to his office on a motorcycle, accompanied by his colleague Khairul Islam, when the accident took place. While attempting to overtake a car, the pair reportedly lost control of the motorcycle and skidded onto the road. At that moment, a covered van approaching from the opposite direction struck the motorcycle.
