AB Bank PLC has formalised a strategic partnership with iRONman Company Ltd. through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aiming to provide dedicated financial support to the company’s network of listed dealers and distributors. The initiative will utilise AB Bank’s SME-focused programme, “UTTARAN”, designed to address the working capital and growth needs of small and medium enterprises.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Reazul Islam, Acting Managing Director and CEO of AB Bank, and Mr. Md. Arijul Islam Mollick, Head of SME Banking, who represented the bank. On behalf of iRONman, the agreement was signed by Mr. Muin Rahman, Managing Director. A host of senior officials from both organisations, including Mr. Z.M. Babar Khan, Additional Managing Director, and Mr. Iftekhar Enam Awal, Chief Business Officer of AB Bank, as well as Mr. Md. Nazmul Alam, FCMA, CEO of iRONman Company Ltd., were also present to witness the collaboration.
The MoU establishes a framework for financing solutions tailored to iRONman’s dealers, helping them expand operations, strengthen supply chains, and enhance overall business efficiency. By leveraging AB Bank’s UTTARAN product, which offers flexible credit facilities and customised support, the partnership aims to empower small and medium enterprises and bolster economic activity within the sector.
