This event marked the country’s 54th anniversary of independence and showcased a remarkable feat of coordination and skill by the armed forces.
The celebration took place at the parade ground near the old Tejgaon airport, an iconic location for major national events. Organised by the Bangladesh Armed Forces, the event was a unique combination of aerial stunt and patriotic symbolism, designed to captivate the nation and the world. The paratroopers, collectively known as ‘Team Bangladesh,’ executed their jumps flawlessly, holding flags throughout the descent, ensuring that each move was both precise and visually stunning.
Among the spectators was the country’s Principal Adviser, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, who watched the historic moment unfold with great admiration. The occasion also featured a spectacular flypast by the Army, Navy, and Air Force, with fighter jets and helicopters performing intricate aerial routines.
