Barishal Division

Barishal Division is one of the eight administrative divisions of Bangladesh. It was established in 1993, comprising six districts from the southern region of the country. Prior to that, this administrative area was part of Dhaka Division (1829–1960) and later of Khulna Division (1960–1992).
