A tragic accident in Bogura’s Nandigram Upazila has claimed the life of a 13-year-old boy named Utshob, who was crushed beneath the wheels of a truck on Sunday, 22 March. The incident occurred around midday on the Kadamkuri-Penghajki regional road near Dhundar Bazar in Burail Union.
Utshob, the son of Bikash Chandra from Maria village, was reportedly cycling to a nearby religious ceremony in Bonkuriil when the fatal collision took place. According to local witnesses and police sources, a speeding truck approached from behind at Dhundar Bazar, striking Utshob’s bicycle. He was thrown from the bike and tragically caught beneath the rear wheel, dying instantly at the scene.
Police responded promptly after receiving reports from bystanders and recovered the young boy’s body. It was subsequently sent to the morgue of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogura for post-mortem examination.
