Fires at industrial facilities can pose serious risks to workers, particularly when flames spread through production areas or affect machinery and stored materials. In pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, such incidents can also raise concerns about workplace safety, damage to production equipment and potential disruption to manufacturing operations. However, there was no immediate information indicating whether production at the Essential Drugs Company facility had been suspended or whether any medicines or raw materials had been damaged.

The immediate priority for the responding teams was to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further. The presence of 11 firefighting units indicates the scale of the emergency response, although the precise intensity of the blaze and the measures taken inside the facility had not been detailed by officials.

Further information is awaited on the cause of the incident, the full extent of the damage and the condition of the two injured people. Those details are expected to provide a clearer picture of the impact of the fire on the factory and its operations.
