In Mirpur-14, Dhaka, police arrested a man on Thursday morning in possession of two cocktail devices. The identity of the individual has not been disclosed initially.
Deputy Police Commissioner of the DMP Media and Public Relations Department, Muhammad Talebur Rahman, confirmed that the man was detained in Mirpur-14 and two cocktail devices were recovered from him.
Meanwhile, the online ‘lockdown’ programme announced by the banned Awami League has had little impact across the country. Life in the capital remains largely normal, with road traffic moving smoothly. However, sources report that the number of long-distance passengers has slightly decreased.
