Pragati Life Launches New Channel for Policyholder Support

Pragati Life Insurance PLC has launched a new call centre to provide policyholders with easier access to information, services and assistance relating to their insurance policies.

The facility was inaugurated on Sunday at the company’s head office by Mohammad Jalalul Azim, managing director and chief executive officer of Pragati Life Insurance. Chandrasekhar Das, additional managing director and chief financial officer, along with other senior officials, attended the inauguration ceremony.

According to a company press release, policyholders will be able to use the new call centre to ask questions about their insurance policies and obtain relevant information and services. The facility will also provide customers with a channel through which they can report policy-related difficulties and lodge complaints.

Speaking at the event, Jalalul Azim said the new call centre would make communication between the company and its policyholders easier. It would also help the insurer address customers’ questions and service requirements more quickly and effectively.

He said an insurer’s responsibility does not end when a policy is issued. Customers need support throughout the duration of their policies, particularly when they require information or assistance. Providing timely support, he added, is an important part of the company’s responsibility towards its policyholders.

The call centre will operate from 10am to 5pm. It will remain closed on Fridays, Saturdays and government holidays. Policyholders can contact the centre at +8809610910075 during its operating hours.

For insurance customers, having a clear and accessible communication channel can be useful throughout the life of a policy. Questions may arise at different stages, while customers may also need assistance when seeking policy-related services or dealing with an issue. A dedicated telephone service gives them another direct route to communicate with the insurer.

The initiative is also part of Pragati Life’s stated efforts to expand technology-based services and improve communication with policyholders. The company said it would continue developing accessible communication facilities and working to improve policy management and customer service.

A dedicated call centre can also provide a structured channel for receiving customer questions and complaints. For the insurer, such communication can help identify the areas where policyholders require information or assistance. For customers, it provides a specific point of contact during the centre’s stated operating hours.

Pragati Life said its efforts to expand technology-driven services would continue in the future. The company aims to make policy management and customer support more accessible as it develops its service facilities for policyholders.

With the new call centre now operational, Pragati Life customers have an additional channel for seeking policy-related information, requesting services and reporting problems. The company said the initiative is intended to strengthen communication with policyholders and make customer support more responsive.
