Singer Asaka Unveils Music Video for Christmas☆Parade

Asaka, who began her professional singing journey in April 2016, is currently celebrating her tenth anniversary through a series of digital single releases over three consecutive months. Following the release of her first track, Hakanai Rensa, also known as Fragile Chain, her second digital single Christmas☆Parade was made available on 5 November. On the same day, her official YouTube channel began streaming the music video, which has drawn considerable enthusiasm from listeners.

Known for her contributions to various anime and video-game theme songs, Asaka continues to highlight her musical growth through this anniversary project. Alongside new releases, she aims to reconnect her earlier works with both long-time fans and newer audiences.

Her first cover album, Sing That SONG!!, is scheduled for release in Japan on 28 January 2026. The seven-track collection revisits popular Japanese pop songs from the 1970s and 1980s. Additionally, the album includes Lion, the third opening theme of the TV anime Macross Frontier, originally performed by May’n and Megumi Nakajima. Both new listeners and devoted fans are expected to enjoy the nostalgic feel of the album.

Asaka debuted professionally in October 2016 while she was in her second year of high school. Since then, she has delivered numerous anime and game theme songs. To date, her discography includes 16 CD singles, three full original albums and one mini-album. She is particularly recognised for her theme song work for the Laid-Back Camp anime series.
