In a shocking act of violence, Abdur Rahim Bhutto (45), the Organising Secretary of the Youth League for Ward 5 of Rasulpur Union in Char Fasson Upazila, Bhola, was brutally murdered late on Saturday night.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:00 pm on 14 February at Kalerhat Road in Ward 5 of Nazrulnagar Union. According to local reports, Bhutto was attacked indiscriminately with knives and other sharp weapons by unidentified assailants. Despite efforts by local residents to rush him to Char Fasson Government Hospital, he was declared dead upon arrival.
