As part of its 95th anniversary celebrations, AIA Singapore has announced that over the past decade, the company has disbursed more than SGD 40 billion in protective claims and maturity benefits, supporting policyholders across the nation. The SGD 40 billion in payouts encompasses a wide range of protective financial benefits, including death claims, critical illness, accident coverage, hospitalisation, and maturity benefits. In addition, the total includes disbursements for savings and retirement plans, reflecting the company’s dedication to long-term financial protection and holistic well-being.

AIA Singapore reports that it now safeguards the health and wellness of approximately one-third of the country’s working population. Notably, it was the first insurer in Singapore to integrate mental health coverage into its policies, signalling a comprehensive approach to overall wellness.
