In a significant police operation in Jamalpur Sadar Upazila, seven individuals were arrested while attempting to transport nearly 3,000 litres of petrol for illegal sale. According to local sources, late on Tuesday night, a suspicious convoy consisting of a pickup truck, a van, and an auto-rickshaw was spotted transporting 15 drums of petrol through the area. The seven individuals found with the fuel were immediately restrained by the local community and reported to the police the following morning.
