According to information shared by Runa Laila in a video message on 24 April, the track was initially conceived as a solo performance. However, after listening to Bappa Mazumder’s musical arrangement and compositional direction, she personally proposed transforming it into a duet. Runa Laila described Bappa Mazumder as an exceptionally gifted composer, singer, and music director, emphasising that his contribution elevated the artistic quality of the piece. The recording of “Anayashe” was completed approximately one year ago at Bappa Mazumder’s studio in Banani, Dhaka.
