DUET Admission Notice Published

The Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Gazipur has officially announced the admission notice for its undergraduate programmes for the 2025–26 academic session. According to the Undergraduate Programme Examination Committee-2026, applications are now being accepted for first-year Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Bachelor of Architecture programmes under different faculties of the university. Selection will be conducted through an admission test based on eligibility criteria set by the institution.

The online application process began on 12 May 2026 and will continue until 22 June 2026. The application fee has been fixed at BDT 1,500. Applicants must complete payment through mobile financial services or internet banking platforms, including bKash, Rocket, or the designated education fee payment system.

Eligibility Requirements

The official notice outlines several mandatory eligibility conditions for applicants seeking admission:

• Applicants must be citizens of Bangladesh.
• Candidates must have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Dakhil, or an equivalent examination from any recognised general education board, Technical Education Board, or Madrasa Education Board.
• A minimum of 50 percent marks or a GPA of at least 3.00 on a 5.00 scale (including optional subjects) is required at the secondary level.
• Candidates must hold a Diploma in Engineering, Diploma in Agriculture, or Diploma in Architecture under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board with a minimum of 60 percent marks or a CGPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
• Only candidates who completed their diploma examinations in 2024 or later are eligible to apply for the admission test. This restriction does not apply to individuals currently employed in government, semi-government, autonomous organisations, or sector corporations in teaching or other official positions.
• Applications must be submitted according to the departments listed in Clause 4(a) of the official prospectus.
• Candidates applying to multiple departments must submit separate applications. However, applicants for Mechanical Engineering (ME), Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE), and Materials and Metallurgical Engineering (MME) are required to submit a single application while indicating their preference order among these three departments.
• Employed candidates must submit applications through the appropriate administrative authority.
