AL power comes exclusively from the people: Sujan

Railways Minister Md. Nurul Islam Sujan has said AL power comes in power with people’s mandate as they are the party’s only source of power.”People are the only source of AL power,” he said at an AL peace rally held on Khosabari high school ground of Panchagarh district’s Debiganj upazila in a protest of anarchy and terrorism by BNP across the country.

Pamuli union AL unit arranged the function yesterday afternoon.The minister said BNP is trying to come in power by illegal way as its previous history was not fair.  The Bangladesh was liberated led by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as Jamaat, Rajakar, Al-Shams took position against Bangladesh independence, he said.

The 71-defeated forces came in the power after killing Bangabandhu as Zia formed BNP with anti-liberation force, he added.Sujan said they want to go to power again with creating anarchy.He further said AL believes in peach and development in the country as the party will remain beside people and keep protected their rights.

Bangabandhu wanted to build an exploitation-free society as he used to think that nobody will remain hunger, Sujan continued.”Bangabandhu’s dream was that Bangladesh will be poverty-hunger-free country. But his dream was not fulfilled as he along with most of his family members were killed by some disgruntled army men on August 15, 1975,” he said.

The minister also prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu, his deceased family members, four national leaders and slain freedom fighters.The rally was also addressed, among others, by upazila AL president and general secretary Gias Uddin Chowdhury and Hasnat Zaman Chowdhury jarje, Pamuli UP chairman Moni Voshon Ray, and Tajul Islam.
