The admission process for the 2025–26 academic session of the undergraduate first-year programme at the Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has entered its fifth phase, following the announcement of remaining vacant seats. According to a notice published on the university’s admission website on Thursday, the fifth phase of admission will begin on 3 May.
At the conclusion of the fourth phase, a total of 23 seats remained unfilled, prompting the continuation of the admission process into an additional round.

Admission Schedule and Process
The university has confirmed that document verification and health examinations for candidates within the designated merit range will be held on 3 May from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Central Auditorium of CUET. Candidates from the merit positions 3501 to 4000 have been called for the Engineering and Urban and Regional Planning departments, while candidates with merit positions 131 to 135 have been called for the Architecture department.
Applicants are required to log in through the designated admission link and download previously completed online choice forms along with other required documents from their dashboards. These documents must be printed and brought to the admission venue. Candidates who have not previously filled in the online choice form will be given the opportunity to complete it on the day of admission.
Following document verification by the scrutiny board, candidates will undergo medical examinations.
On 4 May, candidates will be assigned their respective departments and must deposit the admission fee of BDT 18,500 at the Sonali Bank CUET branch by 1:00 pm. However, candidates who complete their medical examination on the same day may also deposit the fee immediately upon approval from the authorities.

Candidates must submit the following documents during verification:
- Original Secondary School Certificate (or equivalent) and transcript
- Original Higher Secondary Certificate registration card and transcript
- Original certificate issued by the head of the educational institution
- Two recent passport-size colour photographs (not older than three months)
- Signed admission test admit card from the hall supervisor
Additionally, candidates must bring a blood group test report from a recognised diagnostic centre. Students who use spectacles are required to bring their glasses during the medical examination.
Post-Admission Process
After completion of the fifth phase, the list of admitted candidates, allocated departments, and remaining vacant seats (if applicable) will be published on the admission website by 5 May. Admission activities will continue until the orientation day, subject to seat availability.
If any seat becomes vacant due to withdrawal of admission, automatic migration will be carried out based on merit position and preference order.
