Jal frontman Goher Mumtaz has unveiled a breezy new track, ‘Har Saal’, in collaboration with renowned Pakistani singer Aima Baig, marking their first-ever standalone musical partnership. The release, which also features Mumtaz’s band Jal, has already begun generating buzz among fans for its effortless charm and melodious appeal.

Written and composed entirely by Mumtaz, ‘Har Saal’ was released on Monday along with a complementary music video. Mumtaz announced the release on Instagram in a succinct post, writing:

Two weeks prior to the official release, Mumtaz and Baig teased ‘Har Saal’ with a short trailer. The opening line,

This is not Mumtaz and Baig’s first time performing together. In Mumtaz’s 2024 film ‘Abhi’, where he starred opposite Kubra Khan, the soundtrack featured contributions from a host of acclaimed artists, including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Tanya Wells, Nish Asher, and Mumtaz himself, with multi-instrumentalists Leo Twins shaping the overall sound.
