Sajal and Misti Pair Up

Bangladeshi actor Abdun Noor Sajal and actress Misti Jannat are set to appear together for the first time on the big screen in a new film titled Dujone. The project will be directed by Debashish Biswas.

The two performers recently signed contracts for the film at a hotel in the capital. According to the production team, filming is scheduled to begin on 12 May.

Director Debashish Biswas said the film centres on a romantic journey involving two individuals from contrasting circumstances whose lives gradually become connected. He explained that the narrative follows the development of their relationship and the emotional stages they experience along the way.

Describing the story, the director said the film explores themes of mutual understanding, affection, impulsiveness and the eventual fulfilment of love. According to him, Dujone is fundamentally a story about the journey of a relationship.

Misti Jannat said she has begun preparations for the role in accordance with the director’s vision for the project. She also expressed hope that the production would be completed promptly and presented to audiences soon.

The story and dialogues for the film have been written by Abdullah Zahir Babu, while the screenplay has also been prepared by Debashish Biswas. The film is being produced under the banners of Haven Multimedia and Geeti Chitrakotha.

The announcement marks another addition to the growing number of romantic films currently in development within Bangladesh’s film industry. Although the producers have not yet disclosed details regarding the full cast, shooting locations, or a release schedule, preparations for principal photography are now underway following the formal signing ceremony.
