Actress Akanksha Chamola Confirms Divorce from Gaurav Khanna

Indian television actors Akanksha Chamola and Gaurav Khanna, long regarded as one of the industry’s most stable couples, are ending their nine-year marriage. Following months of speculation, Chamola confirmed that the pair have been living separately for the past year and are currently navigating formal divorce proceedings. At the time, Khanna stated that because their marriage was rooted in mutual love, he fully respected his wife’s autonomous choice.

In January this year, when rumours of a marital rift first surfaced, Chamola had dismissed the reports during an interview with The Times of India. She maintained that their marriage was stable, claiming that a social media post had been misinterpreted by fans. During that same interview, she also clarified her stance on motherhood, stating firmly that she did not envisage herself becoming a mother and viewed it as a strictly personal decision that required no public justification.
