The health condition of actor Tinu Karim, currently undergoing treatment on life support, has further declined. Since Wednesday night, his blood pressure has fallen, and on Thursday morning doctors stated that although they are doing everything possible, no improvement has been observed. The information was confirmed by his wife, Humayra Nowshin.
Humayra Nowshin said, “I spoke with the doctors this morning. They cannot say anything. They only said there is no improvement; rather, his condition has deteriorated. Apart from praying to Allah, we have no other path.”
She mentioned that the family is also considering transferring Tinu Karim to another hospital for advanced medical care.
However, the decision will depend on how stable his physical condition becomes. The actor had gone to his hometown in Barishal on 8 November. He suddenly fell ill there, and when his oxygen level continued to drop, he was brought to Dhaka on 24 November.
Following this, he was admitted to the ICU of a hospital in Dhaka. Two days ago, when his condition showed slight improvement, he was shifted to a cabin. But on Wednesday, his blood pressure and sugar levels declined, causing him to lose consciousness. He was first taken back to the ICU and then placed on life support.
Requesting prayers from people across the country, Humayra Nowshin said, “Everyone, please pray for my child’s father so that he can return to us.”
The actor has an 11-year-old daughter.
Tinu Karim made his television debut in 2001 with the drama Sakhar and entered the film industry in 2010 through Opeksha. He has since acted in numerous dramas and commercials, including Rat Jaga Phool and Alta Banu.
