The project serves as a strategic pivot following the introduction of the “Captain’s Card,” a priority access initiative that initially catered exclusively to former and current national team captains. This exclusive focus drew significant criticism from the wider cricketing community, with former international pacer Tapash Baisya notably characterising the move as exclusionary. Advanced Cooling Systems: Large-scale industrial fans are being trialled in the Club House stands to manage thermal comfort for spectators during high-temperature summer matches.
