Nora Fatehi Denies Any Involvement in Drug Scandal

The recent wave of Bollywood drug-related allegations has brought the spotlight onto high-profile figures in the industry, including actresses Nora Fatehi and Shraddha Kapoor. Mumbai Police, in coordination with the Narcotics Control Bureau, recently executed a raid linked to an international drug syndicate. The operation revealed the involvement of Salim Dollar, a well-known trafficker operating primarily from Dubai.

During interrogations of a suspect arrested in the UAE, names of prominent Bollywood actors were mentioned, along with claims of their attendance at parties allegedly linked to Dawood Ibrahim’s network. The investigation also implicated Nora Fatehi’s brother, Siddharth Kapoor. Officials are preparing to summon those named for further questioning.

Addressing the controversy, Nora Fatehi broke her silence in a candid statement. “I do not attend parties. My passion lies in my work. Even on holidays, I prefer the comfort of my home. My work, my aspirations, and my dreams keep me motivated every day,” she said. She further stressed, “I have never been involved in any of these activities. Those who attempt to malign my name in the future will face serious consequences.”

Industry experts note that such public denials are crucial in managing reputational risks in Bollywood, where allegations can rapidly escalate in the media. Nora’s proactive response underscores her intent to separate her professional identity from unverified claims and to reaffirm her focus on her career and personal values.
