Queen Releases ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ 360 Experience Video

Queen has released a new 360-degree video for Bohemian Rhapsody as the final instalment of their YouTube series. The video commemorates 50 years since the song spent nine weeks at number one in the UK. It features live performance visuals, the original promotional video, lyric graphics and other elements.

Laptop and desktop users can drag their mouse to navigate the full view, while smartphone users can tilt and rotate their device to explore different angles. VR viewers may also place their phone into a headset for a complete immersive experience. A press release notes that the video encourages viewers to “look up to the skies.”

Bohemian Rhapsody, from the album A Night at the Opera, was Queen’s first number-one single. Written by Freddie Mercury, the six-minute track was rereleased in 1991 following his death.
