Teams reaching the National Kabaddi final in both divisions

The final matches of the National Kabaddi Championship will be held tomorrow, Saturday, at the Shaheed Captain M. Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in Dhaka. Excitement is expected to reach its peak in both the men’s and women’s finals.

In the men’s final, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) will face the Bangladesh Army, with the match kicking off at 4:00 pm. One hour later, at 5:00 pm, the women’s final will take place, featuring Bangladesh Ansar and VDP against the Bangladesh Police team.

At the conclusion of the finals, Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam, Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, will present the trophies and awards to the victorious teams as the chief guest.

Women’s Semifinals
The first women’s semifinal was one of the most thrilling matches of the tournament. The contest between the BGB and Ansar teams, both strengthened by national players, was intense. By halftime, Ansar led narrowly at 16–15.

After the break, BGB managed to bowl out Ansar at one stage, but the match ended 32–32 in the final moments. In the tiebreaker, keeping their nerves under control, the Ansar team secured a 39–35 victory.

In the second semifinal, the Bangladesh Police team displayed remarkable dominance. The Rangamati team struggled to mount any resistance. Police led 31–6 at halftime and eventually won convincingly 62–18.

Men’s Semifinals
In the first men’s semifinal, BGB faced the Bangladesh Navy. Although BGB led 24–12 at halftime, the Navy made a strong comeback in the second half. Nevertheless, BGB ultimately triumphed 40–37 to reach the final.

The second semifinal between the Army and Air Force was closely contested. The first half ended level at 13–13, but the Army emerged victorious 33–30 to secure their place in the final.
