Forkan Mia, who is originally from the Gopalganj district and works as a private car driver, has been missing since the discovery of the bodies.

The Superintendent of Police for Gazipur, Md. Sharif Uddin, confirmed the fatalities and stated that multiple teams from the Kapasia Police Station have commenced forensic and investigative work at the site.
Inspector (Investigation) Zubair Hossain of Kapasia Police Station noted that preliminary assessments suggest the motive may be linked to a domestic dispute. Consequently, Forkan Mia is currently considered the primary suspect in the investigation. His current whereabouts remain unknown, and law enforcement agencies have launched a search to apprehend him for questioning.
