Despite the significance of the occasion, he failed to score and was eventually forced off the pitch in the closing stages due to discomfort.

In the 83rd minute, Mbappé signalled to the bench before leaving the field visibly limping. According to club sources, the issue is believed to be located in the hamstring of his left leg. Such injuries typically arise from excessive strain on the muscle group during competitive matches.

Real Madrid head coach Álvaro Arbeloa offered a cautious assessment following the match, stating that the player’s condition could not yet be clearly determined. He confirmed that Mbappé had experienced discomfort and that the medical staff would continue to monitor his situation over the coming days before reaching a definitive conclusion.

The injury adds to a growing list of fitness setbacks affecting Real Madrid this season. Aurélien Tchouaméni has already been sidelined, while reports indicate that Arda Güler and Éder Militão have both been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign. The latest concern over the club’s leading goalscorer further compounds squad difficulties during the closing stages of the season.

With approximately six weeks remaining in the domestic calendar, Real Madrid are also approaching a crucial period in European and international football. Mbappé, who serves as captain of the France national team, is expected to be closely monitored not only by his club but also by the national side in view of upcoming international commitments.
